Pyroelectric Infrared Radial Sensor (PIR Sensor)

The pyroelectric infrared radial sensor (PIR sensor) detects infrared radiation by the characteristics shown by spontaneous polarization of pyroelectric materials under temperature change. Quad sensing element design is used to suppress the interference resulting from ambient temperature variation, to increase the signal output intensity and to be sensitive in all directions. This type of sensor has the technical merits of both single and dual type. As a result, the operating stability of the PIR sensor is greatly improved. The D205B pyroelectric infrared radial sensor can be widely used in the fields of automatic light switch control, security systems, burglar alarms, automatic doors, intelligent toys and is typically used as a ceiling mounted PIR sensor.

Directions for Use
1. Pay attention to the mounting direction of the sensor's element and the parts size in the ichnography. You can get an optimal optical design by according to the focus of the Fresnel Lens.
2. The ex-factory parameter of sensor is gained by testing in the conditions of standard Black Body and the relevant circuit after one minute steady time.
3. The detecting distance of sensor is a multidimensional function of ambient temperature, temperature of moving target, target distance of Fresnel Lens, ambient humidity, amplifier gain and comparison voltage.
4. It is recommended that the welding of the sensor's down-lead be conducted at a position higher than 4mm, and the welding should be completed in the shortest possible time.
5. Do not touch the window by hand and the hard objects directly.
6. Strong shake and static electricity should be avoided.
7. The pyroelectric infrared radial sensor is packed with environment friendly material, and the sensors' surface has been covered specially with OHK anti-corrosion material. There are 100pcs per small package, and 3000pcs per large package.
